This blogger and wrestling fan had a chance to sit down on Sunday here in America and watch WWE Evolution 2025.
I'm never one to trash a show and I certainly wouldn't do it for any promotion. To me, it has always been a great idea by WWE to give the women of wrestling their night. Personally, I think it would have been great if all the commentators were women to make everything complete!
To this fan, it was sad that Atlanta, Georgia didn't fill up the State Farm Arena. Atlanta has always been a great place for wrestling with all the history going way back. Maybe, it had to do with MLB's All Star Game festivities. I don't know. I think it was in the Bay Area where I live, there was no question that the Chase Center would have drawn more.
All the matches were good. Certainly, the fans were into it, especially when Jade Cargill defeated Naomi. However, there was redemption when Naomi won the Women's World Title in a Triple Threat Match.
The biggest surprise, and this was good, was Stephanie Vaquer winning the 20 Woman Battle Royal and assuring herself of a future title shot. This fan is not implying that she isn't worthy. I had someone else, in Chelsea Green winning.
However, it was a great show during part of a great wrestling weekend. Saturday, we had the AEW event in Arlington, TX and WWE had Saturday Night's Main Event.
