WCPW Cruel Summer Show Results

Hello everyone.

This blogger had a great time last night (Saturday) at the Cruel Summer show.  The independent shows in the San Francisco Bay Area are really good and this one was no exception.  The event was put on by West Coast Pro Wrestling with promotions such as DPW and Prestige participating.

There were seven matches on the show, with one title change, and one match in which it was too close for comfort for this fan.  Pictured above, this blogger got out of the way just in time with two wrestlers ending up in the seat I was in, as well as, a chair that just missed my head...

I was impressed with the quality of the matches.  Definitely, there was a good mix of wrestling, high flying action, the kicking aspect as well as the athleticism.  No one in the United Irish Cultural Center left disappointed.  This blogger behaved well.  There was a bar and I did have just one beer!  It was definitely a good and cold one and thank you to the fan who bought it for me after the DQ match!

My apologies for the lack of photos, but unless you sat right at ringside, the quality lighting wasn't very good.  It will be better in two weeks in Alameda!  I was told that last night's event had anywhere from 250-400 fans.  Will go out on a limb and say a little over 300!  The fans in attendance were vocal and loud!

Anyway, this blogger had a great time!  I will be at the Stars Of Wrestling Independent show in Alameda (roughly 14.5 miles by car from where I live) on Saturday, August 9th.  The event is called Grappler's Paradise and it has the makings of a huge show, if not the best independent show in 2025!
